RN, LVN, or Student Nurses who are enrolled in a Nursing Program wishing to update and broaden their knowledge of pharmacology.

Course Duration
Eight weeks. Students are expected to spend at least one hundred and twenty eight additional hours of self- studies on practice exercises, group activities, case studies and research activities accompanying this course.
Course Description
This Pharmacology course is specially designed for Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses and Student nurses wishing to refresh, enhance and/or develop their theoretical and practical knowledge base of pharmarcotherapeutics related to nursing practice through the application of critical thinking skills in clinical situation while utilizing the nursing process. The major focus of this course addresses principles of pharmacology, medication administration techniques, drug calculation, drug classification by prototype, and various therapeutic drug uses according to body systems.
